Pickle Creek

Last weekend me and my family went hiking at Pickle Creek. While we were driving to the trail, we saw giant bee nests. he rock formations there were amazing. The rocks were ginormous. We hiked along the creek for awhile until we crossed over the creek into the Whispering Pines trail. The pine trees were roughly 30 feet tall. When we got deeper into the pine forest, we started to see that some of the trees were burned. My mom told me that pine cones only released their seeds in extream heat. Which is why they burned the trees. We went hiking for about 3 hours.
